She’s one of my Graphic Design heroes, Annie Atkins, mostly known for her work with film director Wes Anderson. She is designing graphic props for filmmaking and around that topic she made a book, published in Februari 2020, Fake Love Letters, Forged Telegrams, and Prison Escape Maps: Designing Graphic Props for Filmmaking. A whole mouthful and high on my wishlist.
Also her instagram feed is worthwhile to see and to follow.

A website full of book covers! Sounds like music in my ears. 🙂
THE BOOK COVER ARCHIVE, for the appreciation and categorization of excellence in book cover design.”
Et voila, don’t have anything to add except that is super fun and inspiring to watch and to discover more info about the designers.

His books have been in my library for years and if I remember it correctly it was my dad who showed me his photographs. Cause I love seeing how people are living, and especially the homes of creatives, Todd Selby his website is a pleasure to browse around.
Besides being a photographer, Todd is also a director, artist, author, and illustrator.

“His project, The Selby, offers an insider’s view of creative individuals in their personal spaces with an artist’s eye for detail. The Selby began in June 2008 as a website where Todd posted photo shoots he did of his friends in their homes. Requests quickly began coming in daily from viewers all over the world who wanted their homes to be featured on the site.”

Every photo report ends with a small interview. Which are also very fun to read.
